Why I Am Showing You the Math

Last week I published the complete explanation of the Resonant Signature Protocol. The most common question I get after people read it is some version of: how do you actually calculate someone's frequency? Not the general answer. The actual math.

This post is that answer. I am going to walk you through the exact four-step formula I use, show you every variable, and run the prototype calculation, my own numbers, all the way through so you can see a real result come out the other side.

I am showing you this because precision is the highest form of benevolence. If you are considering investing $497 to $5,000 in a frequency protocol, you deserve to understand exactly where your number comes from. There should be no mystery here. There is only math on top of published methodology on top of your confirmed data.

I label every claim with its evidence register. [Documented Science] for peer-reviewed or published mathematical methodology. [Logical Synthesis] for original formulas I built on top of that methodology. These are clearly separated because they are not the same thing and it would be dishonest to present them as such.

Where This Starts: Hans Cousto and The Cosmic Octave

In 1978, Hans Cousto, a Swiss mathematician and musicologist, published a method for converting any periodic event into an audible frequency. The method is called octave transposition, and it works like this.

Every periodic event has a frequency, meaning it completes a cycle a certain number of times per second. A planet's orbit around the Sun is periodic. But the number of cycles per second for a planetary orbit is an extraordinarily small number. Earth completes one orbit per year. One year is roughly 31,557,600 seconds. So Earth's orbital frequency is 1 divided by 31,557,600, which is approximately 0.0000000317 Hz. That is far below any frequency a human ear can detect. [Documented Science: this arithmetic is straightforward physics. The orbital period of Earth is a confirmed astronomical measurement.]

Cousto's contribution was applying a well-understood musical operation to that number. The operation is octave doubling. In music, when you double a frequency you move up one octave. The A above middle C is 440 Hz. The A one octave higher is 880 Hz, exactly double. The A below is 220 Hz, exactly half. Same note. Different register. [Documented Science: octave doubling is a foundational principle of acoustic physics and music theory.]

Cousto took Earth's orbital frequency, 0.0000000317 Hz, and doubled it repeatedly until the result landed inside the range of human hearing (20 Hz to 20,000 Hz). After enough doublings the result is 136.10 Hz. This is the Earth Year tone, sometimes called the AUM frequency. It is not invented or approximated. It is arithmetic applied to a confirmed astronomical measurement. [Documented Science: Cousto's calculations are documented in The Cosmic Octave, 1978. The English translation was published in 1988 and 2000.]

He repeated this process for every planet, every moon, and Earth's own rotation, producing a reference table of audible planetary tones. That table is what I built the RSP formula on top of.

Every client's confirmed natal chart determines which subset of these values enters their calculation, and how much weight each one carries.

The Four Steps

The full formula is:

Confirmed Hz = ( Sum of [Planet Hz x Weight] ) / ( Sum of Weights ) + Life Path Modifier

Here is what each step means and why I made the choices I made.

Step One: Convert Each Planet to Its Cosmic Octave Hz

I pull the client's confirmed natal chart from their birth data: date, exact time, and city of birth. I use the Placidus house system because it gives me the most precise house placements for the Life Path and chart ruler identification.

Each planet in the chart is assigned its Cousto Hz value from the reference table above. This step is entirely derived from Cousto's published methodology. I am not inventing the planetary frequencies. I am reading them from a published mathematical framework and applying them to a specific confirmed chart. [Documented Science: the Cousto values. Logical Synthesis: applying them to a weighted personal formula, which is my original contribution.]

Step Two: Apply Prominence Weights

Not all planets carry equal weight in a natal chart, and the formula reflects that. I assign each planet a prominence weight based on its role in the confirmed chart.

Planet Role in Chart

Prominence Weight

Sun

4

Moon

4

Chart Ruler (ruling planet of Rising sign)

3

Dominant Aspect Planet (most exact aspects within 2 degree orb)

2

All other planets

1

The Sun and Moon are weighted equally at 4 because they carry the most fundamental identity and emotional signature data in any natal chart. The chart ruler is weighted at 3 because it governs the lens through which the entire chart is filtered. The dominant aspect planet gets a weight of 2 because tight aspects represent concentrated energy in the chart. Everything else contributes at baseline weight 1. [Logical Synthesis: this weighting system is original methodology I developed for the RSP. It is not derived from any published astrological authority. I built it to reflect the interpretive hierarchy most experienced practitioners use when reading a chart, translated into arithmetic.]

Step Three: Calculate the Weighted Average

Multiply each planet's Hz by its weight. Sum all those products. Divide by the sum of all the weights. The result is the base Hz.

Base Hz = Sum of (Planet Hz x Weight) / Sum of all Weights

Step Four: Apply the Life Path Harmonic Modifier

Calculate the client's Life Path Number from their date of birth. Reduce all digits to a single number, or leave it as a master number (11, 22, or 33) if it arrives at one of those.

Multiply the Life Path Number by 1.5 Hz. Add that result to the base Hz.

Confirmed Hz = Base Hz + (Life Path Number x 1.5 Hz)

The 1.5 Hz multiplier is the value I settled on after testing the formula against my own confirmed chart data. It is enough to create meaningful differentiation between people who share the same planetary configuration but different Life Path numbers, without overwhelming the planetary weighted average. [Logical Synthesis: the Life Path Modifier is fully original to the RSP. The multiplication value of 1.5 is a design decision, not a derived constant.]

The Prototype Calculation: My Numbers

I am the prototype. Every audio file in the RSP library was built to 176.1275 Hz, my confirmed Resonant Signature Frequency, before I ever ran the formula for another person. Here is how that number was produced.

My Confirmed Birth Data

My confirmed frequency was derived from my natal chart: Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Pisces, Cancer Rising, born January 28, 1990 in South Georgia. Life Path Number 3

Step One: My Planetary Hz Values

Planet

Cousto Hz

Sun (Aquarius 8deg 40min, 8th House)

126.22 Hz

Moon (Pisces 4deg 26min, 9th House)

210.42 Hz

Mercury (Capricorn 13deg 49min, 7th House)

141.27 Hz

Venus (Capricorn 23deg 11min, 7th House)

221.23 Hz

Mars (Sagittarius 29deg 28min, 6th House)

144.72 Hz

Jupiter (Cancer 1deg 59min, 12th House)

183.58 Hz

Saturn (Capricorn 18deg 52min, 7th House)

147.85 Hz

Uranus (Capricorn 7deg 22min, 7th House)

207.36 Hz

Neptune (Capricorn 13deg 04min, 7th House)

211.44 Hz

Pluto (Scorpio 17deg 40min, 5th House)

140.25 Hz

Step Two: My Prominence Weights

Sun: weight 4. Moon: weight 4 (also chart ruler, Cancer Rising, so weight is the higher of the two, which is 4). Neptune: weight 2 (dominant aspect planet, Neptune conjunct Mercury within less than 1 degree, the tightest aspect in my chart). All other planets: weight 1 each.

Planet

Hz x Weight = Weighted Value

Sun

126.22 x 4 = 504.88

Moon (Chart Ruler, weight = 4)

210.42 x 4 = 841.68

Mercury

141.27 x 1 = 141.27

Venus

221.23 x 1 = 221.23

Mars

144.72 x 1 = 144.72

Jupiter

183.58 x 1 = 183.58

Saturn

147.85 x 1 = 147.85

Uranus

207.36 x 1 = 207.36

Neptune (Dominant Aspect, weight = 2)

211.44 x 2 = 422.88

Pluto

140.25 x 1 = 140.25

Step Three: The Weighted Average

Sum of weighted values:

504.88 + 841.68 + 141.27 + 221.23 + 144.72 + 183.58 + 147.85 + 207.36 + 422.88 + 140.25 = 2,955.70

Sum of weights:

4 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 17

Base Hz:

2,955.70 / 17 = 173.8647 Hz

Step Four: The Life Path Modifier

My Life Path Number is 3. January 28, 1990: 1 + 2 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 30. 3 + 0 = 3.

Life Path Modifier = 3 x 1.5 Hz = 4.5 Hz

Confirmed Resonant Signature Frequency:

173.8647 + 4.5 = 176.1275 (rounded to 4 decimal places)

Displayed as: 176.13 Hz

That is the number. That is exactly how it was produced. Not estimated. Not assigned. Not pulled from a frequency chart built for Aquarians or Projectors or Life Path 3s as a category. Calculated from my specific confirmed chart data using published methodology with an original weighting layer I built.

One Thing This Formula Does Not Claim

The Cousto Hz values are published mathematics. The octave transposition method is documented acoustic science. Those parts of this formula are solid. [Documented Science]

The weighting system and the Life Path Modifier are original to the RSP. I built them. They have not been independently validated by a scientific body. I am applying an interpretive framework from astrology and numerology as arithmetic inputs to produce a unique Hz value. The uniqueness is mathematically real. The claim that this Hz value represents something meaningful about who you are is [Legitimate Inquiry], meaning it is a plausible hypothesis with a coherent internal logic, supported by traditional practice across multiple systems, but not confirmed by controlled scientific study.

I will not overstate what this formula does. It produces a number that is uniquely yours. Whether that number is the most important frequency your body needs to hear is a question I answer through the Resonance Read, the report, and the ongoing relationship of working with you. The math gets you to the starting point. What happens from there is the work.

What Happens to Your Number Next

Once your confirmed Hz is established, it becomes the carrier frequency for every file in your audio library. The brainwave entrainment frequencies (Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma) are the beat frequencies layered on top. Your confirmed Hz is the signal underneath all of it. That carrier does not change across any file. It is the thread that makes your library yours and not a generic entrainment product.

The next post in this series covers what 176.13 Hz did when I mapped it against the phi-ratio chakra system. Specifically: how my prototype frequency landed at the Heart center without being placed there. That publishes Thursday, July 17, 2026.

If you are ready to have your own frequency calculated now, the RSP is live at feelthesevib3s.com/rsp. The 30-Day Signature Session at $497 is where most people begin. Founding Cohort seats are open at July 15, 2026 for the first 25 clients.
